Today’s Stache Sunday Funny should come across as “laughable” or “nonsensical”… unless you are a member of the North Shore SRA!

This cycling imagery is wrong on so many fronts, perhaps the BC Child Protection Services should be notified and the North Shore SRA should be reprimanded, spanked for promoting such troubling, freewheeling practices. They are anything but “safe route advocates” willingly encouraging unsafe cycling habits that will cause unnecessary injury (death) to children especially during this wintry season… I thought I had seen it all – unbelievable.  #EpicInsanity  #NorthShoreSRArenegades  #CyclingGoneWrong

Mayor Grinch wins the 2018 NSN Readers Choice Awards for WTF: North Shore favourite mayor! Surely proving Grinch has a larger city staff voter base to draw on than our other two North Shore Cities!

“The people have spoken”… well actually NSN publisher Kvarnstrom only a few people weighed in on your Readers Choice Awards.  And when it came to choosing a favourite North Shore mayor I and others would like to see the beef, “the ballots,” a breakdown in how many out of 5,500 actually did vote for a mayor. i.e. How many of the supposed 5,5oo cast ballots were there for each NS mayor and keep in mind DNVC has a much larger population.  I guess DNVCites dislike their mayor more than I thought, or did they like myself and others frankly could not elect a favourite mayor from your NSN Readers Choice Awards…  And why did you choose a very outdated waterfront/skyline at the bottom of your pg. 4 The People Have Spoken babble – did it have to meet mayor Mussatto’s approval?

StatCan data shows overall North Shore Tri-City population in 2016 at 181,506!  And for conservative argument sake let’s bring down that number to anyone aged 18 and over to 100,00-ish potential voters.  And ignoring the fact that both the larger papa bear DNVC and mama bear CNV populations are going through since the end of 2017 exponential and unprecedented growth!

The real winners in the Readers Choice Awards was of course NSNews MILKING WINNERS in placing quarter, half to full page ads in the their paper: “CHA-CHING!”

WARNING: Anti high density/commuter burdened voter’s beware come October 20th!  For the votes the mayor received in this dubiously bias readers poll highlights just how aggressive and determined local city staffers, HUB cyclists and socialites are in their support in wanting wannabe councillor Buchanan to be their next psycho-ling, pro density mayor, currently hiding under the mayor’s inglorious coattail.

The good news in all this is the NSN Willy Wanka Choice Awards did not offer the obvious 4th choice in the favourite mayoral category: “none of the above” which would have been an overwhelming first choice for most on the North Shore.  #NoneOfTheAbove  #WillyWankaAwards

North Shore pro density MLA’s “Dumb, Dumber and Dim-wit” maintain WTF: by further increasing density levels will resolve our traffic woes!

Paul Sullivan contributing writer to the NSN reported on a recent North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce “traffic yammering” Breakfast.  A morning brekkie featuring guest “pro density” speakers MLA’s Thornthwaite, Sultan and parliamentary secretary for TransLink and pro cyclist’s Ma.

Three unlikely bedfellows whom have copiously rationalized and no doubt had a little help from their respective mayors and BFF city councillors, i.e. the “hostage takers” behind our traffic woes.  Despicable’s indebted to their campaign development backers and vainglorious egos; having heedlessly voted in favour of EVERY high density project after another to the point where we have now surpassed 2041 regional levels!

MLA Densifier’s Dumb, Dumber and Dim-wit (you decide which one is which), had better soon realize their pro density North Shore city councillor pals come next year’s civic elections may not as in probably won’t be re-elected with a few of these City Slickers like our mayor not running for re-election.  At which point ALL three MLA’s will be confronted by new city hall board of directors.  North Shore City Councils that won’t be in favour of more density, more unaffordable development nor will they ever be in favour of taxing our highways and bridges… and there lies your Density Fate of ever again getting re-elected.

As Grinch aka mayor Mussatto has sarcastically vetted, “Welcome to North Van, ha, ha.”
